Micro 4/3 and good lenses for cheap: Olympus E-PL1 with pancake Nikon 50m f1.8 (http://flic.kr/p/biBd4k) This lens is very compact on a F-mount camera, and remains relatively compact on a micro 4/3 body with an adapter. The quality is good, manual focusing is smooth (but not that easy).
In-body stabilization of Olympus cameras is very useful with this 100mm equivalent lens.
